Rina Piccolo was born and raised in Toronto and is the author of three cartoon collections: Stand Back, I Think I’m Gonna Laugh . . . ; Rina’s Big Book of Sex Cartoons; and Kicking the Habit: Cartoons about the Catholic Church. In 2002 she launched her daily comic strip, “Tina’s Groove.” Piccolo lives with her husband in New York City.

An iStory

Eva pits herself between the new neighbor and her garden gnomes. The drunk is at it again. “What do you have against my gnomes, you toothless good-for-nothing?” Grinning out his window as he has every afternoon since moving in, he aims his slingshot and shoots. The stone hits Juniper, Eva’s favorite of all the gnomes. “I hope you die of a horrible disease, you ugly, worthless worm!”
