Gary Sturm was born in Los Angeles and received an MA from California State University in 1975. He is the author of the novel The Secrets of Time, as well as a collection of short stories, Dreamers and Other Stories. Sturm has taught English at Los Angeles Pierce College and writing at Kansai University of Foreign Studies in Japan. He lives in Liberty Lake, Washington.
