Deborah Landau is the author of Orchidelirium, which won the Robert Dana Prize for Poetry, and The Last Usable Hour (Copper Canyon Press, 2011), a Lannan Literary Selection. She was educated at Stanford, Columbia, and Brown, where she was a Javits Fellow, and received a PhD in English and American literature. For many years she codirected the KGB Bar Monday Night Poetry Series. Landau is the director of the NYU Creative Writing Program.

the smell of diesel     your hand
on my soft places     trucks shattering


broome street     your hand
