The citizens of Aunay believed Pierre Rivière
batshit, dimwitted. These were family traits.
The people mentioned his movements were
off. They said he talked to the clouds. The
picture their testimony portrays of Pierre
is just as believable as Leonardo DiCaprio’s
performance in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape.
