David Grubin is a filmmaker whose documentaries on topics ranging from history and science to art and poetry have won many awards, including two Alfred I. Dupont Awards, three George Foster Peabody Prizes, five Writer’s Guild prizes, and ten Emmys. His films include The Trials of Robert Oppenheimer, The Buddha, LBJ, and Free Renty: Lanier v. Harvard. Born in Washington, DC, Grubin has taught documentary film producing at Columbia University and holds degrees from Hamilton College and Harvard University. He lives in Hillsdale, New York.
