Pam Bernard, a finalist in Narrative’s Sixteenth Annual Poetry Contest, is the author of the poetry collection Across the Dark, as well as the verse novel Esther. She earned an MFA from Warren Wilson College and is a graduate of Harvard University. She lives in Walpole, New Hampshire.
