Meghan Dunn was born and raised in upstate New York and lives in Brooklyn, where she teaches high school English. She has an MFA in creative writing from Emerson College and a BA in English from Boston College.

in righteous anger, their coop unbound,
unsplintered, nails leapt from the wood.
