Simon Han was born in China and grew up in Dallas, Texas. He received a BA in creative writing from Northwestern University and lives in Stamford, Connecticut, where he is a product manager of collectible Christmas ornaments. He was a finalist in the 2011 Narrative 30 Below Contest.
