Jeffrey Brown is the Chief Correspondent for Arts, Culture, and Society at PBS’s NewsHour and the recipient of an Emmy and five Cine Golden Eagle Awards. In a career spanning more than twenty years, Brown has served in a variety of roles at the NewsHour, where he conducted studio discussions, reported from the field, and regularly coanchors the nightly news. He is the creator and host of “Art Beat,” the NewsHour’s online arts and culture blog. Brown attended the University of California at Berkeley, the UC Berkeley School of Law, and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
