Sara Brickman is an author, performer, and activist from Ann Arbor, Michigan. She earned an MFA from the University of Virginia and is the winner of the Split This Rock Poetry Prize. Brickman teaches with Seattle’s Arts & Lectures Writers in the Schools program, which helps students discover their writing and performing voices. The 2013 Rain City Women of the World Slam champion, Brickman has performed her work at venues across North America. She lives in Seattle.
